The Two Day Event Celebrates All Things Sneakers, Music, and Art

ComplexCon is back this weekend for two full days of all things pop culture, music, art, style, and sports. Taking the liberty to brand themselves as our generation’s world fair, ComplexCon is the yearly festival and convention that brings the online magazine to life. Famous among sneakerheads and hypebeasts alike, ComplexCon is a can’t miss event to get your hands on the latest drops and exclusive merch. From panels and discussions featuring the most creative and innovative minds in music, film and fashion to an augmented reality game to cop the newest Adidas; this event is for the culture.

Taking place this Saturday and Sunday (November 3-4) at the Long Beach Convention Center in California, ComplexCon has a stacked lineup. Musical performers include Future, Rae Sremmurd, Vince Staples, Action Bronson, Tinashe and many more. In between the acts, panels and discussions will be hosted by industry titans like Virgil Abloh, Tommy Hilfiger, Issa Rae, Yara Shahidi and Hype Williams. Resident Complex sneakerhead, Joe La Puma will lead a panel called “Sneaker of the Year” while internet sensation Shiggy will discuss going viral on “We Meme Business.” Check out the full list of events here.

Last, but certainly not least, let’s discuss the much anticipated drops at ComplexCon. PushaT revealed on Twitter that Adidas will be releasing not one, not two, but six new styles and designs at the convention. The drop features a Dragon Ball Z originals collection and two new Pharrell Williams designs. Reebok is unveiling the highly anticipated R58 series while Puma is launching the RS-X sneaker. But, it’s not all about the shoes; exclusive clothing collabs will also be hitting the floor. Nike X Diamond Supply Co., Steve Harrington X AAPE (a BAPE Company), and Chinatown Market X The Hundreds will be a few of the many streetwear labels dropping collabs.

This event will be packed. If you couldn’t cop a ticket in time or live on the other side of the country and can’t fly out to LA, keep an eye on our Instagram for live action updates and behind the scene looks.
